Mikaele, Mata’utia and Minikin to leave Warrington-ZoomTech News

Prop Thomas Mikaele and centres Peter Mata’utia and Greg Minikin will depart Warrington Wolves when their contracts expire on the finish of the season.

Mata’utia and Minikin, who each joined underneath Daryl Powell for 2022, have 54 and 20 appearances respectively.

Mikaele returned to Wire mid-season and has performed 23 video games for them.

Academy merchandise Jack Darbyshire and Aiden Doolan may also depart.

“We wish to thank all of our departing gamers for his or her effort and dedication throughout their time with the Wire and we want all of them one of the best of their subsequent chapters,” the membership stated.

All six gamers can be given a presentation at Warrington’s ultimate house recreation of the season towards St Helens on Friday.

New head coach Sam Burgess has signed St Helens centre Wesley Bruines to his squad already for 2024.
