Kent’s chief government Simon Storey has mentioned it’s unlikely Tunbridge Wells will host any extra County Championship matches.
Kent haven’t performed males’s first-team cricket on the venue for the reason that annual Tunbridge Wells Competition was cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
The county had been undefeated there in 10 matches relationship again to 2009.
“While a return to the Nevill [Ground] in 2024 for males’s first XI just isn’t scheduled, we need to help the superb work that is happening regionally which ensures cricket continues to be a thriving sport,” Storey said.
