Hungary unhappy about relocation of Bulgaria game-ZoomTech News

Bulgaria’s Euro 2024 qualifier with Hungary has been moved from Plovdiv to the Vasil Levski Nationwide Stadium in Sofia

The Hungarian soccer federation is sad with the Bulgarian soccer union and mentioned you wouldn’t “organise a household vacation on this manner” after their Euro 2024 qualifier was moved.

Thursday’s match was switched on Tuesday from Plovdiv to Sofia.

It follows a call by the Plovdiv municipality due to building work at Hristo Botev Stadium.

The HFF mentioned the actions of the BFU are “unprecedented, completely unjustified and grossly unsportsmanlike”.

“It’s not even potential to organise a household vacation on this manner, not to mention a world soccer match with an enormous stake, involving tens of millions of individuals,” it added.

Uefa has stepped in and ordered the match to happen behind closed doorways at Vasil Levski Nationwide Stadium in Sofia.

Hungary lead Group G with 14 factors after six matches, and can qualify for subsequent summer season’s match in Germany with a sport to spare with a draw, or if Montenegro drop factors towards Lithuania.

Bulgaria are backside of the group with two factors.
