Yorkshire have signed South African all-rounder Donovan Ferreira as an abroad participant for the 2024 T20 Blast.
The 25-year-old can maintain wicket, bowl and bat, and has performed two T20 internationals for the Proteas, with six sixes amongst his 60 runs.
Huge-hitter Ferreira has expertise of the Indian Premier League with Rajasthan Royals, and Abu Dhabi T10 with Chennai Braves.
“Headingley is an iconic and particular place to play,” Ferreira stated.
“I am excited to be a part of such a prestigious membership.”
Darren Gough, Yorkshire’s managing director of cricket, added: “He’s an thrilling addition to the crew, and his all-round skills and constant performances in varied worldwide franchise leagues are indicators that he has a big profession forward in cricket.
“We hope he’ll play a giant half in Yorkshire’s T20 marketing campaign, and we’re wanting ahead to welcoming him to Headingley.”
