Texas shortstop Corey Seager left the Rangers’ recreation in opposition to the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday evening following the seventh inning due to a left shin contusion after being hit by a pitch within the inning.
The 2023 World Collection MVP was struck on the again leg by an 0-2 pitch from reliever Austin Voth that bounced within the dust in entrance of the plate. Seager was attended to by the medical workers after taking first base and remained within the recreation for the remainder of the inning.
Seager missed most of spring coaching after having sports activities hernia surgical procedure Jan. 30.
