Hull KR have signed prop Jai Whitbread from Wakefield Trinity on a three-year deal from subsequent season whereas Rhys Kennedy has been launched by the membership.
Fellow Aussie Kennedy, 29, leaves with a yr of his contract remaining.
“I am going to put my finest foot ahead each time I take the sphere,” Whitbread, 25, told Hull KR’s official website.
“I had a dialog with [head coach] Willie Peters and he defined his imaginative and prescient for Hull KR and the board of administrators’ imaginative and prescient for the membership.
“It was very engaging for me as a participant simply to listen to what’s being put in place and the enhancements throughout the membership – it was all constructive.”
The departing Kennedy joined the Robins for 2023 from Brisbane Broncos after 144 first-grade and reserve video games in Australia, together with a spell at Souths.
He performed 26 video games, scoring as soon as, as Hull KR made the highest 4, play-off semi-final and Problem Cup closing.
