Britain’s Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid will face one another within the wheelchair singles quarter-finals on the French Open on Wednesday after successful their opening matches.

Prime seed Hewett, 26, who has received three singles titles on the event, beat sixth seed German Joachim Gerard 6-1 6-3 on Tuesday.
