Deon Cross has been rewarded for a profitable two-season stint at Salford

Deon Cross has been given a brand new two-year contract, with the choice of an extra 12 months, by Salford Purple Devils.

The 27-year-old centre has been rewarded for his haul of 19 tries in 57 appearances in two seasons on the membership.

St Helens product Cross arrived on the membership in 2022 and was switched from the wing to centre by head coach Paul Rowley.

He beforehand performed for Rochdale Hornets, Barrow Raiders and Widnes Vikings.

“I had a scholarship at St Helens once I was 15 or 16 after which acquired launched – I simply wasn’t ok,” Cross mentioned.
