Hull Kingston Rovers have signed London Broncos hooker Invoice Leyland.
Leyland, 21, has agreed a two-year contract, which can start from 2025. He’ll miss the whole 2024 marketing campaign after struggling anterior cruciate ligament harm throughout pre-season.
Broncos said on their website , externalthey had been “bitterly disenchanted” to lose him and that the membership’s promotion to the Super League and resultant full-time standing meant a two-year part-time contract he signed “was successfully null and void”.
The London membership say Leyland subsequently agreed a one-year full-time contract after rejecting a two-year deal and that they “stay dedicated” to supporting him by way of his rehabilitation from his knee harm.
He was a standout performer for Broncos of their promotion-winning season, making 32 appearances and scoring 13 tries.
