Gloucester have signed tight-head prop Alfie Petch on a deal of undisclosed size.
The 24-year-old spent final season at French second division aspect Biarritz the place he made 17 appearances within the Pro2.
Petch started his profession in Exeter Chiefs’ academy and performed for Championship aspect Cornish Pirates earlier than spending 2022-23 with Northampton Saints.
“He’s already had loads of expertise at Exeter, Northampton, Cornish Pirates and Biarritz, and he’s nonetheless received loads of growth left in him,” Gloucester director of rugby George Skivington mentioned.
