Opening batter Haseeb Hameed has been appointed Nottinghamshire captain.
The 26-year-old steps up from the position of vice-captain to substitute Steven Mullaney, who has stepped down after six years within the position.
England worldwide Hameed, who gained the final of his 10 Check caps in January 2022, will lead the facet in each the County Championship and One-Day Cup competitions.
“Main Nottinghamshire is a real honour,” Hameed informed the club website.

Hameed began his profession with Lancashire and joined Notts forward of the 2020 season.
