Sam Wooden has performed centre, wing and back-row throughout his profession

Castleford Tigers have signed versatile outside-back Sam Wooden on a three-year deal from Hull KR, to start from the 2024 Tremendous League onwards.

The 26-year-old has 38 tries and 15 objectives in 129 profession video games, with three tries and two video games in 11 video games for the Robins throughout 2023.

Wooden, who counts Huddersfield, Oldham and Batley amongst his previous golf equipment, had his season ended by a knee damage in June.

“I need some stability,” Wooden stated of the transfer to the Tigers.

“I wish to be at a membership I can actually make my very own, put my imprint on the membership and struggle for that beginning shirt (and) actually turn into part of that membership.”

He’s the newest signing for the Tigers, on the again of Papua New Guinea duo Nixon Putt and Sylvester Mamo, Batley centre Josh Hodson and Wynnum-Manly Seagulls centre Josh Simm.
